Anthropocene – an Unveiling

9 March 2026

This evening plans to be a bit different. What make a successful artist whose paintings and prints had given pleasure to thousands of people over his career give it all up? To create works of art that are both thought provoking and unlike anything you will have ever seen?

So if you want to spend an evening that will be a little different please come with an open mind to see, learn and discuss this first unveiling of David Young’s major and visually unique works of art.

Workshop

13 April 2026

During this workshop Lin will look at the various pathways we take in terms of developing our art work. We will be looking at places and landscapes in a literal way before finding a route towards summarising those places in terms of abstraction.

The image included here is of a landscape hiding a history of mining, very much the past of Gunnislake.
